Olaf Witkowski is an executive ambassador of technology strategy and a leader of advanced AI research. He helps future-oriented organizations to execute their vision and global strategy in science and technology. His laboratory works towards a better understanding of the universal principles that guide all intelligent systems in any substrates. He also studies the origins and future of intelligence in the universe, designs evolvable communication systems between diverse intelligences, and a mathematical theory of awareness. He co-founded multiple research and technology ventures worldwide, including Cross Labs in Kyoto (hybrid intelligences), YHouse in New York (emergence of consciousness in the universe), and CSAS in Kathmandu (AI and Wisdom traditions). He is also a lecturer in information sciences and Artificial Life at the University of Tokyo, and a, affiliated researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Hokkaido University, and multiple other research and technology organizations.
